W.H.O recently released the Global Priority Pathogen List to highlight the key bacteria that pose a serious challenge for medical management. The list highlights the need for all stake holders to join efforts to prevent antibiotic resistance from developing and spreading

around the world. It calls for action by phramaceutical companies, policy makers, healthcare providers to make concerted efforts to find new antibiotics and prevent resistance from developing.
